This stretch of land is almost completely devoid of plant life, it is vast and composed of large hills and rocky outcroppings. The Headlands are a favorite spot of drivers, making it a dangerous place for any dog looking to make a home, few ever settle here.

This barren wasteland has many large cliff faces and rocky mountains, dotted with bandit camps and scrapyards, it is an ideal place for scavengers to pick through for armor or supplies, but generally not a friendly place to live.

The eastern stretch of the Rust Commons is a twisting maze of canyons, rocky outcroppings, and ravines. Unlike the Western half, the Eastern is much more habitable, and is even dotted with pools of water. The southern border of the East Commons is a rather large body of water. Many canines choose to call this place home.

The most dominating feature of this dry landscape is Thor, a long dead Dahl mining excavator. Many nomads pass through here picking over the wreckage, but it is a generally unfriendly environment to dogs looking for a place to call home.

The dogs of Jakobs Cove are a strange lot, surrounded by death and, at one point, zombies, they tend to be a few cogs short of a working clock. Not many dogs travel to this place, the stories alone are enough to drive anyone away, but sometimes an adventurous sod will venture here.

This vast area was once an enormous lake, almost completely dried up and marked by incredibly tall roadways, once built to hang above the water's levels. Very few remnants of humanity remain, and some are inhabited by ragtag groups of dogs claiming what's left.

The Highlands are a very different picture from what most of Pandora's areas look like. It is surprisingly green, with more vegetation and water sources than most. Many dogs scratch out a fairly content living in this place, though they sometimes face issues with the human population, they've become skilled at evading Hyperion's efforts.
